Shifting from biochemistry to business wasn’t just a career transition for me, t was a transformation in how I understand problems, people, and possibilities. My academic foundation began in the sciences, where precision, experimentation, and analytical thinking shaped the way I viewed the world. I spent years studying biochemistry and working in clinical research, where attention to detail was not just a skill but a responsibility. I learned how data tells a story, how accuracy drives outcomes, and how careful observation leads to breakthroughs.
But as much as I enjoyed the scientific world, I felt a growing curiosity about something bigger: How do organizations work? How are decisions made? How does strategy shape impact? I realized that while science taught me how systems function, business could teach me how systems evolve.
That curiosity eventually opened the door to my next chapter, that is pursuing a Professional MBA.
Stepping Into the Business World
Transitioning into an MBA program was both exciting and intimidating. I walked into classes surrounded by people from finance, consulting, tech, and corporate backgrounds, fields I had never worked in. But the challenge pushed me to grow. With every course, I began uncovering a new part of the business world that connected with my scientific mindset.
Risk Assurance taught me how to evaluate uncertainty and strengthen decision-making.
Sustainability Management showed me how organizations balance purpose and profit.
Data Management for Business helped me interpret information beyond a lab setting.
Leadership and Team Management helped me understand the human side of strategy and collaboration.
Marketing and Competitive Strategy expanded my view of how companies position themselves and compete in a dynamic market.
Finance and Economics for Business gave me a deeper understanding of value creation, financial health, and market behavior.
Business Ethics taught me how responsible choices shape long-term trust and impact.
Supply Chain Management revealed how global operations, logistics, and efficiency connect behind every product we use.
Web Analytics introduced me to the digital landscape and inspired my interest in content creation, optimization, and online engagement.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) deepened my understanding of workplace fairness, representation, and the value of diverse perspectives.
Global Business Management gave me a perspective on how companies operate across cultures and international markets.
Each of these subjects added depth to how I approach problems. I realized that my biochemistry background rooted in structure, logic, and analysis that naturally complemented business concepts. I wasn’t just learning; I was connecting disciplines that many people rarely see together.

I often found myself explaining complex concepts to classmates in ways that felt practical and approachable. That eventually inspired BizSphere, a space where business insights become clearer, more relatable, and easier to navigate.

It’s where I share ideas, break down concepts, and create content for students, professionals, and career changers who want clarity in a fast-moving business world.
Embracing a New Identity
Moving from biochemistry to business didn’t mean leaving my past behind, it meant expanding it. Science taught me discipline, accuracy, and curiosity. Business taught me strategy, communication, and decision-making. Together, they shaped a multidisciplinary perspective that I now bring into every project I work on.
Today, I stand at the intersection of both worlds - scientifically trained, business-minded, and driven by the belief that learning never stops. This journey has shown me that careers don’t have to be linear; sometimes, the most meaningful paths are the ones we create ourselves.
Through BizSphere, I hope to help others do the same - one insight at a time.
